City Bus (KentKart)
Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality buses are the cheapest way into the city. The direct line to the centre costs 28 TRY and takes about 50 minutes; the night service via Dağkapı is 28 TRY / 30 minutes, and the Üçkuyu Toki direction is 28 TRY / 65 minutes. There is no cash payment; a KentKart travel card is required. Buy the card in advance from the kiosk or ticket machines at the airport exit. Buses generally run at set intervals through the day.
Taxi and Private Transfer

How to Get from the Airport to the City Centre and Bus Station
The airport is only 6 km from the city centre. To the centre: take the city bus from the stop outside the terminal (28 TRY with a KentKart) towards Bağlar / Sur, or take a taxi for about 285 TRY and reach the centre in roughly 15 minutes. To the bus station (otogar): the otogar is just beyond the centre, 8 km from the airport, around 365 TRY by taxi. If you go by city bus you may need to change to a connecting line at the centre, so ask the driver about onward buses. Travellers heading to nearby provinces (Mardin, Batman, Şanlıurfa) usually go to the otogar first and take an intercity coach from there.
