Free WiFi at Dalaman Airport is limited to 30 minutes via the "DLM-Free-WiFi" network — shorter than at Turkey's major airports. SMS verification with your phone number is required.
SIM card access is very limited and this is Dalaman's biggest drawback. A small Turkcell kiosk may be found in the international arrivals area, but it's not guaranteed to be open — especially during winter months and after late flights. There are no Vodafone or Türk Telekom kiosks.
For this reason, eSIM is the most critical solution for passengers arriving at Dalaman. If you install an eSIM from Airalo, Nomad, or Holafly before your flight, you'll have internet the moment you land. You can use Google Maps and Uber/BiTaksi apps during your transfer to Fethiye or Ölüdeniz.
If you prefer a physical SIM card, Turkcell and Vodafone stores in Fethiye bazaar or Ölüdeniz offer much better prices and package options than the airport. In the Dalaman region (Fethiye, Ölüdeniz, Dalyan, Göcek), Turkcell coverage is generally better than Vodafone, especially in mountainous areas like Saklıkent Canyon.
