Çukurova International Airport SIM Card & WiFi Guide 2026

Çukurova International Airport (COV) SIM card shops, operator packages, free WiFi and eSIM alternatives.

Çukurova (COV) is Adana's airport and offers 30 minutes of free WiFi via the "COV-Free-WiFi" network. Connect by verifying your phone number via SMS.

A small Turkcell kiosk is available at the airport, but as a new airport its SIM options are limited. Operator stores in Adana city centre (Forum Adana, M1 Adana Mall, İnönü Street) and Mersin (Forum Mersin) offer a far wider selection and better prices. Foreign travellers must show a passport to buy a SIM.

Access to eSIM apps (Airalo and similar) is currently restricted inside Turkey. If you want an eSIM, install it before you travel to Turkey and the data will work on landing. Because buying or activating an eSIM after arrival can be difficult, a physical SIM at the airport or in the city is the safest in-country option.

All three operators have strong 4.5G coverage across the Çukurova region (Adana, Mersin, Tarsus); no signal issues along the Mersin coast or within Adana city. For short stays, hotel WiFi is usually enough.
