Sivas Airport (VAS) serves the central Anatolian city of Sivas, known for the Gök Medrese and Şifaiye Medresesi on its central square — among the finest surviving Seljuk buildings in Anatolia — and now a stop on the Ankara–Sivas high-speed rail line. The airport is 23 km from the city centre. Both the Havaş coach and a municipal bus serve the terminal, alongside taxis. Havaş runs to the city centre for 200 TRY in about 40 minutes with seven stops along the way, timed to arriving flights rather than a fixed clock. A taxi covers the same distance in roughly 25 minutes for about 1,200 TRY on the meter (50 TRY opening, 50 TRY per km), so the coach is far better value for one or two travellers. The open car park follows the 2026 DHMİ Group B tariff at 180 TRY per day, with the first 15 minutes free.
