City Bus (Line 96)
The most affordable way into the centre right now is the Kayseri municipality bus. Line 96 runs from the airport to Cumhuriyet Meydanı between 06:10 and 23:40; the journey takes about 30 minutes for 39 TRY. Payment is by Kart38 travel card rather than cash, so get the card in advance. Lines 100, 101 and 271 also connect the airport to other districts.
Havaş Shuttle
Havaş has temporarily suspended its shuttle between Kayseri Erkilet and the city centre (Otogar). When it resumes, the fare is 200 TRY for a journey of about 30 minutes. Confirm the current status at havas.net or by calling 0850 222 0 487 before you travel; in the meantime the Line 96 city bus is the most practical alternative.
