Adnan Menderes Airport (ADB) serves İzmir, Turkey's third-largest city and the commercial heart of the Aegean region. Located 16 km south of the city centre in Gaziemir, it handles year-round traffic on both domestic and international routes. Havaş shuttle buses link the terminal to İzmir city centre and Konak. The airport also connects travellers to the wider Aegean coast including Çeşme, Kuşadası and Alaçatı.
